March 26, 2008 --- The Justin Blackwell Racing team, with Justin Blackwell behind the wheel of their #99 entry, will travel to the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana this Saturday evening, March 29 for the annual running of the 'Indiana Icebreaker.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the $10,000 to win event on Saturday at the famed 1/4-mile, semi-banked fairgrounds oval. A full program of qualifying, heat races, consolation events, and the 11th Annual 'Indiana Icebreaker' will take place this Saturday at the south-central Indiana speedplant. JUSTIN FINISHES UP SEASON AT BROWNSTOWN WITH SEVENTH PLACE EFFORT!
September 2, 2007 --- The Justin Blackwell Racing team traveled to the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana for the final time in the 2007 racing season on Saturday evening, September 1. After running third in his heat race, Justin Blackwell rolled off from the inside of the fifth row for the 25-lap main event. Justin battled hard around the 1/4-mile, semi-banked oval each and every lap and managed to get by two cars en route to a solid seventh place performance in the A-Main. BLACKWELL IN ACTION DURING 'JACKSON 100' WEEKEND...
August 19, 2007 --- The #99 team traveled to the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana over the weekend for the 28th Annual 'Jackson 100.' Justin Blackwell unfortunately failed to make the starting grid for the $2,500 to win show on Friday night, August 17 after running fourth in his heat race and falling out of the B-Main. On Saturday evening, August 18, Justin and his #99 team had high hopes of transferring into the $15,000 to win 'Jackson 100.' JUSTIN INVADES COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY!
August 12, 2007 --- Following a rain-out last Saturday night at the Brownstown (IN) Speedway, the Justin Blackwell Racing team invaded the Commonwealth of Kentucky over the weekend for a pair of Dirt Late Model events. On Friday night, August 10, Justin Blackwell was in action at the legendary Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky. After qualifying well, Justin finished sixth in the dash prior to running eighth in the A-Main. The action then turned to the Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, Kentucky on Saturday evening. Justin advanced to the feature through his heat race where he was eventually credited with a thirteenth place performance.
